English: Dr. Duddu Radhikka – the name synonymous to melody, rich traditional values and sahitya bhava, is one of the prominent artistes in the field of carnatic classical Music and hails from the city of Hyderabad, India. A Post graduate in Music (Carnatic Classical – Vocal), Andhra University, Radhikka has acquired the Doctoral degree in Music from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tiruathi. She is an ‘A’ grade artiste of AIR and Doordarshan. Radhika is a Carnatic Musician by profession and captivates her audience with a strikingly delightful voice & articulate presentation. Born in a traditional & Music loving family, Radhika is the younger child of Sri Mylavarapu Venkata Rao and Smt. Mylavarapu Sarada. Both her parents have learnt Carnatic Music and are very good Music rasikas. Radhika also got married into a family of Musicians where the heritage of music is being carried over for three generations now.
Radhika had her initial training in music from Smt. Saraswathi Vidharthi, a Professor, Department of Music, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Later, Radhika was groomed under the guidance of Smt. B Indira Kameswara Rao, a Top Grade Artiste and a Staff Artiste, AIR, Visakhapatnam, an acclaimed musician & a devoted teacher.
Post Marriage, Radhika has settled in Hyderabad and has taken advanced training from Sri D Raghavachari, the elder of the world renowned Musicians “Hyderabad Brothers”.
Radhika gave her first performance at the age of 14 years during the “Gurupujotsavam” at Sri EK Homeo Vaidyalayam, Visakhapatnam. Radhika has given performances across the country for many organizations of repute and has more than 1000 performances to her credit.
Radhika has also released 4 Thematic Audio CDs of various Pancharatnas composed by Sadguru Thyagaraja under the title “Pancharatna Maalika” viz., Sriranga Pancharatnas, Tiruvottiyur Pancharatnas, Kovur Pancharatnas and Naarada Pancharatnas.

Radhika teaches to aspiring students through her institution “Upaasana”, an institution for Performing Arts.
She demonstrates an exclusive devotion towards the preservation & propagation of this divine & ancient art of South India through her foundation – “Sri Kartikeya Gana Sabha Trust.
