English: Speeding car 921 with two trailers passing the fashionable Hairdresser's shop. This T2-62 motor car was one of five acquired from Plauen earlier in 1989 - an exchange where Plauen received newer Tatras in exchange for older Gothas. At the time, Zwickau's Trams were painted in this lovely red and cream livery, shared also with nearby Plauen.(in 1983, Zwickau and Plauen were integreated into the large transport combine of Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz)).

All except this one of the Plauen T2Ds were scrapped without entering service but 5 trailers were retained. 921 was lucky and worked until the end of Gotha cars in Zwickau(1995), eventually being sold to Arad in Romania, where it ran until 2003. Their long life here in the united Germany was due to the tendency of their low-floor replacements to keep derailing.

One is kept as a museum piece no 92 with trailer 133, and two others are works cars.
